I came here 3 times it was so good!!! The staff was so nice and remembered me. Great conversation a with them and the food was delicious. I ate it so fast I forgot to take pictures. Cute little place with gorgeous plants around and modern. Lunch and dinner all never disappointed.
Thai cravings? Solved. La Ong on Beverly Hills nails the balance between cozy and elevated. We tried the Crazy Wagyu, their luxe spin on grapow, and the Khao Soi, a rich, bold curry that stole the show. Both dishes were a feast for the eyes and the palate--presentation on point, flavors even better. This spot has that "family-run but make it fancy" vibe. Locals fill the tables, takeout bags are flying, and you just know you're in the right place. Sure, the prices are Beverly Hills-level, but you're getting high-quality, unique Thai dishes that are worth the splurge. Looking for a dinner spot when casual isn't cutting it, but you're not feeling super fancy? La Ong's your move. Elevated Thai perfection. Service was really awesome.
What a great find! This place is amazing. The food is so flavorful and the service was awesome! Friendly staff with helpful recommendations. Dined with a party of 3 for lunch and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will be back!!
Tried it for lunch with my colleagues and had a good experience. Food was wonderful and the outdoor seating was pleasant on a warm day. Prices were a bit high as expected for the area. Service was good and out server was very attentive.
Went in for lunch for on a Wednesday, had a couple of tables available. Staffs were quick and polite. Got the Ka prao - stir fried chicken with basil. Portion was good, seasoning was flavorful, chicken a bit dry. Nice touch on the sunny side up egg on top, that's evenly cooked, crispy bits around the edges with yolk still runny yet NO gooey uncooked egg bits on top - beautiful. Minus 1 star for the dry chicken.
Craving Thai food while wasting all your money away shopping in Beverly Hills? This is the spot for you! La Ong brings a refreshing twist to Thai cuisine, serving many of the classics while also having some innovative dishes, all presented with an elevated level of dining experience. The dishes are both delicious and beautiful to look at. The presentation is top notch and the authentic (and sometimes innovative) flavors are present with every bite. It's clear they really thought about each dish and put care into it. The service was top notch. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and helped us pick out the best dishes for us given what we were looking for at the time. The ambience is top notch. It definitely meets the expectations given the location. The contemporary interior is upscale without feeling too pretentious (a trap many places fall into). Thai food, even when elevated, has to remain approachable and true to its roots and they reach that balance well. Overall, if you are craving Thai food in Beverly Hills of all places (like us), you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that there is indeed a restaurant for you.
La Ong is a hidden gem right in the heart of Beverly Hills, offering dishes with truly amazing flavor and great composition. Each dish feels carefully crafted, and the balance of taste and presentation really shines. The staff was warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. What I love about La Ong is the relaxed, casual vibe, which makes it a perfect spot for anything from a casual dinner with friends to a laid-back night out. It's refreshing to find a restaurant in Beverly Hills that delivers high-quality food without the pretension. If you're looking for a place with excellent food, a comfortable atmosphere, and friendly service, La Ong should be at the top of your list.
This restaurant is walking distance to many beauty/surgery center and it's a cute small restaurant with outdoor seating. Customer service is phenomenal-friendly and attentive. Got the chili prawns, coconut soup, green curry sea bass, and pad Thai. Loved all of it-maybe the least favorite is the soup; I'm not a big fan of coconut milk as my soup base. The seasoning is on par. Pad Thai is much different than most Thai restaurant; the noodles is a bit chewy and it's not on the sweet side like some places. There's a public parking around the corner that offers an hour free.
I was excited to try this place based off of a recommendation from a good friend! We came as soon as they opened and were quickly seated. The inside vibe is good (i wish there were some more of the traditional elements in the decor as i could see in the food presentation). Thai tea (10/10) -- very yummy no complaints Thai Wings -- best thing we had no complaints. The wings were even good the next day. Khao Soi (7.5/10) -- it was really yummy when it was piping hot, but I wish I got more of the beef flavor (it might've been overdone). Pad See Ew (9/10) -- so so so yummyyyy i was so happyyyyy I would say the food here is great, we loved that the waiter was honest about the mango not being the best for the mango sticky rice that day but still wish it was there :,). The only other kinda awkward part was that they brought out the main course while we were in the middle of the first wing and it was like hard to time eating both. Although the food was awesome, I'm not sure if it classifies itself as much beyond a bougie place to get drinks and good food w your friends.
Food: 5/5 We ordered the pad see ew, mango sticky rice, that tea, pad Thai, and egg rolls! All the dishes were amazing and my personal favorite was the pad Thai and egg rolls! All dishes were served fresh and warm. Definitely get both the pad Thai and the pad see ew as they balance each other out! Service: 5/5 Fast timing for food and good service! Ambiance: 5/5 A beautiful and open place with plants as decor!
